1. Online application
Candidates typically apply through Jobaaj, campus placement drives, or the Capgemini careers page for fresher and experienced openings. Large batches are hired each year across engineering colleges and off-campus drives.
2. Online assessment
Shortlisted candidates take an online test typically covering pseudocode or programming logic, English communication, and aptitude sections, with each section acting as a gate to the next. There is usually no negative marking, but every section must be cleared.
3. Coding or technical assessment
For technology roles, a coding round evaluates programming fundamentals, data structures and problem-solving ability in a language of the candidate's choice. Time management across multiple problems is important in this round.
4. Technical interview
A senior technical panel assesses domain knowledge, coding concepts and practical application relevant to the role or project. Candidates are usually asked to walk through their resume projects in technical depth.
5. HR interview
The HR round covers behavioural aspects, career aspirations, willingness to relocate, and overall fit with Capgemini's project-based delivery model. Communication skills and adaptability to client environments are also assessed.
6. Offer and onboarding
Selected candidates receive an offer letter followed by background verification and a structured onboarding or training programme. Freshers typically go through technical training before being deployed to a client project.
