Interview Process
A thoughtful preparation strategy and consistent practice can make you crack the Accenture interview process.
Most of the details of all open roles are posted on the company's website.
The recruitment process typically involves 3-4 rounds to select the candidates:
- Online Assessment Test
- Technical Interview
- HR Interview
Online Assessment Test
Online assessment test patterns can be categorized into 3 stages.
1. Cognitive Ability and Technical Assessment: This section includes English ability, analytical reasoning, numerical ability, common applications, MS Office, Pseudo Code, Fundamentals of networking, security, and cloud. Candidates clearing this level, reach the next round i.e. Coding round.
2 . Coding Round: This is an elimination round. The scores from this round are considered at the interview round. Two coding questions of your choice of language are to be solved by candidates here. Language choices are Java, C, C++, DOT NET, and Python.
3. Communication Assessment: This is a verbal test to assess you on sentence mastery, vocabulary, fluency, and pronunciation.
Interview Rounds
After successfully completing the tests, candidates are called for interview rounds which may be on the phone, via video, or in person.
Technical Round
Once a candidate clears the online tests, it's time for a technical interview. Though there is no hard and fast set rules for what type of questions are asked here, it generally focuses on evaluating the coding & problem solving skill of the candidate. Basic knowledge of data structure, algorithms, DBMS, Operating System, Networking, and programming language are expected to be asked and known by the candidate. Questions asked can differ on the job role you apply for.
For an experienced candidate, there could be two or more rounds of technical interviews.
HR Interview
The final round to select a candidate. The HR interview helps to determine a candidate’s personality. The questions can range starting from introduction, qualification, experience, hobbies, salary expectations etc
You can expect questions like:
- Tell me about yourself
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Questions from your resume.
