Pre-assessment
After submitting the online application, it undergoes a review process. If the application meets the necessary criteria, you will be invited to take a pre-assessment test or undergo a preliminary screening, which is typically conducted online.
Assessment
Upon successfully passing the initial screening, you will be invited to either a telephonic or on-campus interview, depending on the specific service line you are applying for. The interview will be conducted by a member of the HR team, and the questions will be straightforward and fundamental in nature. Following this, there will be additional panel interviews with senior managers from KPMG.
Super day
You might also experience a super day where you will be taken through a series of interviews and screening tests. If you make it through this, you are 90% done.
Final interview and onboarding
The final interview with your service line manager will be a more in-depth conversation than the previous interviews. The manager will want to get to know you better and assess your fit for the role. They will ask you behavioral questions to understand how you have handled situations in the past.
Preliminary round
The first step in the interview process for a job at KPMG is usually an online screening or pre-assessment test. This test is designed to assess your basic skills and knowledge, and it may also include some behavioral questions. In some service lines, you may also be asked to participate in a telephonic interview. This interview is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself and affirm your application in person.
Technical rounds
The interviews at KPMG will consist of both technical and behavioral questions. The technical questions will be designed to assess your knowledge of the specific field you are applying for. The behavioral questions will be designed to assess your skills and abilities, as well as your fit for the company culture.
Director interview
If you make it to the final round of interviews at KPMG, you are essentially done. This round is a comprehensive personality and behavioral test where the director or manager of your service line will have a detailed conversation with you about the company culture and your future goals. This will be followed by an offer letter.
