Interview Process

ICICI Bank’s best-known graduate entry route is the Probationary Officer (PO) Programme. Its selection is generally reported as four stages:

  1. Online aptitude test – Quantitative, reasoning and English.
  2. Online psychometric questionnaire – Behavioural profiling.
  3. Group discussion.
  4. Personal interview.

Selected candidates undergo a fully funded residential training programme – commonly reported as around two months at ICICI Manipal Academy (Bengaluru) or NIIT University (Neemrana), with a stipend during training – followed by placement into branch roles across India. Lateral and technology roles are hired separately through the bank’s careers portal.
